I choose this organization because I personally have work with them as well believe in their causes. Baang + Burne Contemporary is an unconventional art gallery with the spirit of a traveling indie band, which is founded by two strong women; Charlie Grosso and Kesha Bruce. Unlike a typical chelsea gallery with their typical chelsea gallery girls, they like to invent new ways to build a bond with the artists and the art lovers that comes daily to see new art. "Baang and Burne Contemporary aims to challenge the premise of what an art gallery is. We want to engage the world at large and present work that generates dialogue critically, socially, and culturally.”
