Post 2 Redo: Index Art Center & Jersey City Art School

So, I have been researching these two galleries space for my final project. The reason why I'm currently researching them is that our project need a space and a set time. While I was researching, I had to build a good proposal that would catch their eyes, which can be seen in my previous update post. I would contact them through email with the proposal attached to them. In the content, I describe what kind of show it is in brief short paragraph and add certain important details like how long to install, how much pieces and artists, and how long is the show going to be up for. Important details like before helps create a stronger trust and confidences between the person who's sending out the email to the person who's receiving the email, which you can see it from below.

Hello,

I would like to propose a exhibition project that my partner, Rebecca, and I have been working on for a while. I've been told by Michelle Mumoli and Doris Caçoilo to speak with you about the availability of your gallery. We already starting to acquire couple of pieces from 12 different artists. But, we just need a secure location and a great space to show these amazing artworks.

Our exhibition is called "REvulsion". It's a collection of different works that explores the ideas about beauty and body images when there are all of these advances in technology, body modifications, and cosmetics. These works exposes the negativity of body reconstruction and the perceptions of the human body. Overall, these works can appear quite grotesque but a great conversational kick-starter.

I would like to know if you have any availability in June or July for this exhibition. The show duration period will be from 2-3 weeks. I am very flexible with the date and the show duration. The installation would take about 2-3 days, because we do have a lot of works including couple interesting sculpture pieces. And, deinstallation would take 2 days or less. I have a lot of experiences in installing/deinstalling work at New Jersey City University as one of the senior gallery assistant, an intern for _gaia studios, and many more.

I also attached a proposal with couple of images to give you an idea about our show.

If you have any questions, feel free to call or email me back. My number is down below.

Thank you for your time,

Panida Suwannawisut (Panda)
